Tim, I just wanted to say how delighted I was to find your products at my local Kroger in Galveston, Texas. I grew up in Columbus. The Kahiki was a part of my important high school dates and prom nights. I celebrated my 21st birthday and first legal drink there with my parents and also my 50th birthday shortly before you closed in 2000.
If you decide that you want to venture into a small restaurant I have a great location to suggest- Galveston! We are 45 miles from Houston (the 4th largest city in the U.S.) and a growing resort area on a semi-tropical island. Your theme and foods would be perfect here and fill an unoccupied niche.
Great! It's always amazing for me to hear the stories from Kahiki. So many people enjoyed their proms, anniversaries, first drinks ;), and more at the Kahiki. Thanks for the note. Galveston is indeed a great city. I'm a big sailor and I love that the city is right on the water.
I recently discovered the Kahiki foods line (from Heat and Eat Review), and my lunch hour has never been the same. No longer am I disappointed with bland, oft inedible frozen lunches. My favorites so far are: general tso's chicken (regular and naturals), chicken potstickers, and tempura chicken nuggets. Thanks for such fabulous treats!
I am sooo Amazed with the freshness and presentation of your entrees! Everyone at work in the break room wants to know what is it then where can they get them!
