Meet the Kahiki Krew: Marty Hess

Hello, loyal readers! My name is Marty Hess and I’m the Kahiki Krew’s new PR/Marketing Intern.

Title: PR/Marketing Intern

My main responsibilities include managing this blog as well as our social media presence on Facebook and Twitter. I also help plan campaigns designed to engage both people who already enjoy our products and people who have never heard of them. I’ve only been here for a few weeks, but I’ve learned a great deal and I’m excited to see what the future holds.

I am a senior at The Ohio State University in Columbus, OH majoring in strategic communications with a minor in business and professional writing. I have interned and worked with various organizations around Columbus and have enjoyed every minute. I am also involved with several organizations on-campus including OSU’s chapter of the Public Relations Students Society of America (PRSSA).

In my free time, I enjoy being with my friends and family. I like running and rock climbing, but I don’t think there is ever anything wrong with taking a nap or just relaxing in a comfortable chair. I’ve also been known to rock pretty hard at Guitar Hero.
